Our perspective01

Collected with purpose.
Considered for capital.

A collection is built one decision at a time. Financing against it should receive the same attention.

Martinez Capital LLC offers micro loans backed by eligible Pokémon collectibles. We look at the specific items you submit, document their approved value, and set out the repayment and custody terms before you commit.

The lending framework03

A clear starting point.
Not a guessing game.

Your potential loan amount starts with the value we approve—not a listing price. We then apply the collateral advance limit and your borrower limit.

50% of approved collateral valueORYour borrower limitWhichever is lower.

New relationships start with a request limit of $500. A proven repayment record may support requests up to $5,000, subject to approval.

Explore common questions
A documented decision

No commitment until you have reviewed your offer.

This is high-cost, short-term credit. Consider the full repayment obligation and lower-cost alternatives before proceeding.
01 / REPAYMENT

A schedule you can review.

Your offer explains the payment amounts and Friday repayment structure. The funded loan schedule records the exact calendar dates in your portal.

02 / DEFAULT

Understand the consequences.

Missed payments may trigger default and substantial additional charges. Review the complete default provisions before agreeing to a loan.

03 / COLLATERAL

Know what you are putting at risk.

Your pledged items are held as collateral. Failure to repay may lead to loss of those items, subject to the agreement and applicable law.

A closer look06

Good decisions
begin with
good questions.

Understand the structure before you make a commitment.

01What can I use as collateral?

We consider eligible graded Pokémon cards and factory-sealed Pokémon products. For slabs, submit the card name, grading company, grade, certification number, and front and back photographs. For sealed products, submit the product, set, quantity, and photographs showing its condition and seals. Every item is subject to review; submission does not guarantee acceptance.

02How much can I request?

First-time borrowers may request up to $500. Borrowers with an established record of successful repayment may be eligible for up to $5,000, subject to approval. In both cases, the approved principal cannot exceed 50% of the collateral market value approved by Martinez Capital LLC. The lower limit applies.

03How is my collection valued?

We review current comparable sales and the specific item, grade, certification, condition, and marketability. An asking price or a previous purchase price is not necessarily the value we will approve. The valuation and approved loan amount are available for review before you accept the offer.

04Do you hold my cards or sealed products?

Yes. All approved collateral must be physically received before funding. The items remain in our custody while the loan is outstanding, subject to the signed agreement. Intake, custody status, and return details are tracked against the specific request. Do not send items until arrangements have been confirmed.

05What will the loan cost?

This is high-cost, short-term credit. Your personalized offer sets out the amount borrowed, applicable interest and charges, total repayment, and scheduled installments before you accept. Review the complete agreement, including default provisions, and consider lower-cost alternatives before proceeding.

06What happens if I miss a payment?

Missing a required installment may trigger default and substantial additional charges. Default can also put your collateral at risk, subject to the signed agreement and applicable law. Review the default provisions in your offer before accepting, and contact Martinez Capital LLC promptly about a payment issue.

07What happens after I repay the loan?

When posted payments satisfy the balance, the loan is marked paid and collateral still in custody is flagged for return. Return or collection arrangements are recorded separately; repayment does not automatically ship the items. You can follow the release status and any recorded tracking information in your portal.

08Can I use different items for a future loan?

Yes. Each new funding request has its own collateral package and valuation. You can submit different eligible slabs or sealed products, and the new request is reviewed on its own terms. Previous approval does not guarantee a new loan or the same valuation.
